My daughter got married on the 15th October and we chose to stay over at Buffalo Thorne Safaris as the wedding venue had no wheelchair access abilities. And I’m the cash cow re. father of the bride!!
A few months ago, at the wedding menu tasting, we found this jewel in the bush -Buffalo Thorn. We stayed over for the weekend and enjoyed it so much that we immediately booked for the wedding weekend as well.
The staff is so friendly and helpful. We changed the booking regarding the number of people staying no less than 5 times and at the end, Mari still bent over backwards to accommodate us to our liking. We ordered breakfast at only R60pp and Tawanda comes at the arranged time and will “serve” you as a spoiled customer.
With our first visit, Mari undertook to have a boma built at the wheelchair accessible units with a level cement floor and low and behold it was all done when we came for the wedding!!!!
The rooms are luxurious, spacious and clean and fully furnished and even the bathroom door is wider to accommodate a wheelchair. And now they are busy building a wheelchair friendly swimming pool, nogal!!!
To everyone at Buffalo Thorne, thank you so much for a wonderful time and for your effort to make our stay so enjoyable.
You definitely contributed to making my daughter’s wedding a wonderful success
We will definitely be staying over for a week or so next winter.
All the best and again thank you for everything
